I see your point and I suspect Dusty will start the season with Peña batting second anyway, but I am more worried about how many runs we score than what Peña's batting average is…and that lineup will score a $h1t-ton of runs.

Problem with baseball media is that the writers and talking heads have an allegiance to a team in the LA, NY, Chicago, Philly, or Boston markets.
Even with the growth in markets like Texas over last decade, the teams in these legacy markets continue to dominate coverage.
Think about it, if a team in any of those markets had a run like the Astros have had over the last 6 seasons, they'd be covered as one of the greatest teams in baseball history.
