The signing of José Abreu would bring an end to Yuli Gurriel's tenure as Houston's full-time 1B. Gurriel is a free agent and the Astros have interest in bringing him back in a utility role.

Did we ever find out about Yuli's injury from game 5? Rumors were it could have been surgery and maybe career. If he wants to retire make him a coach and help with our Cuban pipeline
