This is what I said a few pages back. He plays 1B and OF. The move almost makes too much sense. Imagine if the Astros signed him and fixed him.

Interestingly enough, someone on MLB network made the argument that if he's going to sign a one year deal, it might behoove him to sign with a bottom dweller to improve and show his value, then get traded at the deadline. That way, whoever trades for him can't attach a QO to him and he could get a long term deal without the draft compensation attached (should he return to form). If he signs with a contender, then they can put the QO on him after the season which slightly suppresses his market.

2022 Playoff Yuli got results. It's unlikely he would continue to get results if he hit like he did in the playoffs for a whole season unless he could keep the impossibly low K%.

During the WS some people said they would trade multiple winless seasons by the Aggies for the Astros winning. I'll admit I'm relieved that there was no one talking about free agents for the past four hours.
