In fact, I would say 2022 and beyond might just be karma's way of paying us back for the egregious penalty which SHOULD have been shared by 19 teams instead of just 1.
Word going around now is Dodgers will make a run at Aaron Judge. Logical with $100M now off the books with Bellinger, Kimbrel, Anderson, Heaney, Price and 2 Turners off the roster. Needs include SS, 3B, SPs, RP and now OF.

I'd like to see him with LA for the Yankee tears and also LA isn't guaranteed to win the pennant so if we're fortunate enough to make it to the World Series we might not have to face him (although we haven't had problems with him so far).

Walker makes the most sense. No idea what his value would be, but Urquidy for Walker sounds fair to me. Strom might want one of his guys back.

But he needs to be somewhere he can rack up wins 5.2 innings at a time. That means a team that wins and team with a strong pen that won't cough up leads.
I don't think the odds are in his favor but he's got a punchers chance. And he may be the last guy with a chance.

I think that's what intrigues him...he potentially could be the last pitcher to ever reach that milestone. I always thought it was interesting that JV never really felt 2 no-hitters was such a great feat because the list of pitchers who had accomplished it was so long. I think he knows we're the best possible fit for him to achieve that goal and be the last pitcher ever to do it. That's legacy in a game that celebrates it more than all the others. If he's smart he'll take 35 a year with us...we shall see.
