Machete batted roughly .120 for the first half of the season and .220 the second half. They said he played most of the second half with the hernia.

Maybe they shouldn't fix it.

The pain was not allowing him to think as much at the plate and just swing freely

really hard to believe the Tigers never got it done with JV and Scherzer on the same squad for several years. Not to mention peak Prince Fielder and Miggy… Victor Martinez & some other really good players.

Their rotation was pretty awesome at one point

- 2 WS titles
- 2x Cy Young
- 3x All Star
- 3 pennants
- ALCS MVP
- No Hitter

I guess that's not terrible

Kershaw is probably 2 if not 1. Greinke is up there. DeGromm is a little younger, but probably in this group too.
