Mike Brito, the Dodger scout who signed Fernando Valenzuela, has died. Famous for being a fixture behind the plate at Dodger Stadium for years, with his signature radar gun and hat.

I didn't realize that was the radar guy when I saw the story this morning. He got more screen time than almost everyone else in the MLB for a while there.

Hate the Dodgers but loved that guy for no other reason than he always wore a suit and hat to games.

He looked like he was about to leave the ballgame and go hang out with Sinatra and the Rat Pack.
