For those interested, Tatis is in town playing the Roughriders until Sunday for his rehab stint. Didn't know that until someone from my office mentioned they're going to use every ticket this weekend when they usually give me a game or 2.

Bush had a good season or two and just clearly isn't the same. Getting anything for him is a shrewd move

It's always fun to beat the cheatin' Astros, even though that doesn't happen too often lately.

Leody's turnaround this year has been damn impressive. From the stats I'm looking at he's played the exact same number of games this year that he did in 2021.

He hit .161 last year and is hitting .290 this year. Same number of homers interestingly. 9 RBI versus 20. OBP from .207 to .327. And he's done that all in 20 less plate appearances. If he could settle into those kind of numbers we've got a damn good player on our hands. Would be a great foundational piece for the outfield being only 23.

The thing that has impressed me about Leody this season is that when he does have a bad game or stretch of games where he goes 0-4 or 2-10 not as many of those outs are strikeout and he doesn't seem to let it pile on. In the past it seemed like almost all of his outs were 0-2 strikeouts and then they would just pile on. But right now, Just keep doing your thing Leody.

Nice on Youtube TV. First time I've ever gotten to watch the Rangers in 4K.

And then it was not so nice.

I love our teams consistent ability to give up big hits in big moments.
