Reds just traded LF Pham to Red Sox.
Looks like the market for Soto has likely dried up.
Lots of OFs moved.

You can try to mis-characterize my comments if it makes you feel better.
You say JD doesn't telegraph his moves, but all he did in 2019 was declare we were going to fill 3B externally. All comments were focused on Rendon. It was a ruse. The new stadium was opening in 2020 and he knew he had to create buzz in order to sell ticket.
Pressure was mounting because the Rangers got a $500M bond passed for a new stadium and immediately dismantled the team. You can't deny that everyone on here and in DFW that follows the Rangers were excited about a raised payroll expected to reach $165M and become competitive.
I said multiple times that they would land at $140-145M. And they did.
It was well known there was a 7yr offer on the table to the tune of $200M+

It was later reported that the Rangers never really made the offer to the Agent. Why would a GM (JD) go to an agent and offer less years and less money if the GM was serious about signing the player?!
Yes... I'm still a bit pissed that the Rangers played the fans and JD was the front-man. They knew with a new stadium, they didn't need to field a competitive team and pretended like they tried. They did the same thing with a SP that season. They came in at 3yr/less AAV than the 4yr already known on the table.

Add Brad Miller to that, too.
Bubba Thompson needs to get the call. He can play LF can't he?

Agreed. I've been calling for these two to get a look soon. Let's see how they do. Unload Calhoun or Miller to make room for Thompson.

That's pretty much the worst case scenario. What happened and what looks injured? I can't watch the game tonight because of the Astros being on national TV and at home.
The Gray preliminary injury report. Looked like he mouthed something about "back" coming off mound. https://t.co/uVhAuKvOZ9

We just lost a series to Oakland. They're still Oakland.
Would Foscue be worth a look at this point as well?DallasAg 94 said:
I'd like to see more of the following lineup:

Lowe (1B-26)
Garcia (RF-29)
Taveras (CF-23)
Bubba Thompson (LF-24)
Duran (3B/DH-23)
Josh Smith (3B/DH-24)

You do know that Foscue is known for his bat and power for middle infield, right? I'm not saying he's the next Yordan Alvarez, but his bat plays. That's literally the only reason he's a top 100 prospect.
