Awesome thread that taught me so much. Incredible season and a team that achieved ultimate redemption. I always knew what they were capable of and was eventually convinced after a certain point in the 2nd half of the season that they were a team of destiny. Bouncing back after last year's loss and all the BS is just an incredible story. A bittersweet ending for me personally last week, but that's life, and the Astros helped immensely and made me content forever as a baseball fan.

Actually went back and read through the 2017 thread starting on the pages where Yankees beat down and the Dodger WS run started before this years playoffs. So great to have that locked into the interwebs. Look forward to reading this thread again as the 2023 playoffs start. Thanks to all the great baseball minds in the thread adding their 2 cents. And always TOFA AOFA!!!

Alas. All good things must come to an end but what a damn ride! So happy for the players, coaches and us fans that this one ended with another ring. Thank you to all the regulars that make this the best of all of TA.

Off the watchlist. I'm a little sad.

I hardly ever post, but I keep up with this thread daily. It is my source for Astros news, and I wanted to thank everyone that contributes to it for making it so great.

How cool is it that we get to experience such an unbelievable run? I've always been jealous of fans that get to experience multiple years of success. I never imagine that one of the teams that I root for would go on a run like these last 6 years. And the door is WIDE OPEN!

Finally caught up on reading as I left early Sunday for a work trip I am still on. So appreciative of the folks who post on the thread regularly, that know baseball, that provide humor, and those that provide certain images that cause me to shield my phone from my daughter's prying eyes. Been a fan since I was 7 in '79 and so awesome to have vanquished two of the teams that broke my heart. Now to beat the Mets next year to finish the avenging of the 80's!
