I sure love when the sport's preeminent showcase and the only game on can just disappear with no recourse because there's no conceivable way in 2022 to deal with late October and early November rains in a region.

If we are honest, cutting a month off the season would cut a lot of these issues, but that will never happen.

If we play 5 games in a row, their bullpen is their weakness. Adding a travel day back allows them to get rest in. Our bullpen and abundance of starting pitching is our strength. Basically cuts them a break because FOX doesn't want to put a game on TV in the afternoon on Thursday to allow for after-game flights.
