So what's the story with Syndergaard?

Was he injured recently or just sucks now or what? Was surprised to see him in their pen and now the talking heads are saying he could be just an opener or maybe get them 4 IP.

I don't really even remember him being traded from LA.

He was a god with thunderous stuff and an absolute hammer, but after multiple injuries, he came back unworthy.

Look a the crazy pitch mix changes. The velo fell off. He can get swing and miss anymore. And the expected numbers are terrible. Note-you can ignore 2021 (w'd to last dot), the sample size was like 2 outings.

The fact that he never went to the dugout and just did a slow non-celebratory trot was hilarious. It was obvious he knew from the very beginning it was foul but decided **** it, if the umpires will give it to me then may as well make it look official. Made me kinda like the guy.

Was going down the rabbit hole of YouTube and watched 2018 Astros postseason highlights.

1. I forgot pretty much everything about that season
2. The fact that we won 103 games and made the ALCS with Josh Reddick, Tony Kemp, old man Brian McCann and Tyler White in the starting lineup is amazing

They were in Cuba. All kinds of long term immigration stuff to deal with. Takes years and lots of high up government intervention to get them visas.

That would be the logical move. I can't see them adding a day for travel if they had to shift it since the series would extend into Sunday night primetime with Fox. It's really all up to TV. I think they would have to move game 5 to start in the afternoon if they are going to remove the travel day though.
