Speaking of the Mariners and speaking about stupid schedules, the next game is Thursday; That's ok for the 'Stros because they are sleeping in their own beds, etc while the Mariners have to stay here until they play again on Thursday. THAT suck for them!


Celebrate tonight, sleep it off in the morning, and back at it tomorrow late afternoon

And in reality Servais didn't have a choice. He has to pitch to Yordan because he's not putting the tie run in scoring position with the bases juiced and Bregman up.

His fck up was throwing Robby Ray. Yordan hits lefties, we own Ray, and Ray has never saved a game. Nothing about his decision to put in Ray makes any logical sense.

He had to pitch to Yordan but he didn't have to use Robby Ray to do it.


Servais is just going to throw at Astro batters in Game 2 because they made his guys sad

Add to it the absolute moronic pitch selection. Fastball that Yordan just missed. So Ray decided to double down and threw another one and to top it off it was straight meat.

Just stupendously bad decisions.

This was me in '80. I did not have Yordan to make it all better.
I've cried 3 times in my life for sports, once each for each sport.

  • 1980 (I was 9 years old) I cried when we lost to the Steelers (Renfro *ucking caught it)
  • 1980 Astros when we lost to the Phillies
  • 1983 Phi Slamma Jamma to NC State

Maybe one day I can cry tears of joy for the Aggies.

JV had an earlier bad start versus Seattle, and about 4 good ones. I dunno, unless there is something physically wrong with him, let him drive over to Upper Kirby in his F-150 and recuperate with Kate
