Looking back he gave up 2 ERs in .1 IP so not all that great.

I suspect he thought he was on the playoff bubble and was upset.

There's no other logical reason to be upset at that outing on the last day of the season. He's had much worse outings in bigger games.

I assume you did look at a couple years' worth of stats rather than just this years', right?
