I'm with you. Diaz is the better LFer. I understand the desire to put Yordan in LF if you're going to DH Mancini. If Mancini is not going to DH, I'd rather Diaz in LF.

With the rest days, I think games 1-3 will be standard operating procedure. In base case scenarios, JV, LMJ and Framber will give way to a relatively normal assortment of bullpen options. No planned stacks or piggybacks. I think Hunter will get a look in one of the first few games but I'll be surprised if we see Garcia or Urquidy (unless extra innings, up/down big, etc).

We could see a little more creativity in game 4 though, depending on how the series is flowing.

I thought possibility that switched from home/road split reasons, but looks like they are going in straight order.

Pretty bold with JV Junior making the ALDS roster over Dusty favorite Brother Phil.

On a personal note, I'm excited to get to see one of the great strikeout masters, Eugenio Suarez, at work over a few games. Only a bad thumb kept him from getting to 200 whiffs this year.

Poor *******s have to worry about facing back-to-back cy young candidates with Javier and Brown in the pen

On second thought now that the rotation is set, I could envision us a planning stack for LMJ in game 3 and bust it out if necessary.

Don't know how I feel about Mancini at DH but I hope the trust of Dusty lights a fire in him

I have fubotv and youtubetv synced. I pause (yes pause is a thing and i believe you can pause it for up to 26 weeks. Allows you to keep all your recordings) youtube tv in march and start fubotv. Watch astros all throughout the season till end of september and pause Fubotv (yes you can pause fubo too) and start youtubetv back up so you can watch postseason baseball on tbs

I actually love the idea of Lance pitching in a hostile environment. Hate fuel.

Yea, Odorizzi did his job to get the win to clinch the NL East.

Other than that, he has been less than stellar. I will cringe if we have to see him on the mound.

Alvarez in LF scares me because he might get pulled late in a tight game for defense. DH protects him from that.
