Saw in target the other day.

I hope the Mets pummel him.redline248 said:
I guess he doesn't feel like he contributed to earning any of the wins in which he pitched? What a dummy.
I hope he gets a permanent blister on his index finger that prevents him from pitching.

That seems to be a pretty common thought. Last week someone posted odds for winning the WS that showed Atlanta with better odds than LA. But why is that? The Dodgers finished with a better record by 10 games and beat the Braves in their season series by 4 games to 2.
Should we really be hoping the Astros face LA over Atlanta in the Series? That's not how I'm feeling now.
Buck Compton said:True. As a whole they are the least educated professional sports players on a percentage basis due to the minors and draft rules. Doesn't make them all stupid, but there seem to be a lot more than other sports. I still remember that moron Blake Snell during COVID negotiations.Jet Black said:

Interesting that they broke out the 'Los Astros' jerseys, but not the special hats the team wore throughout the year. I did the opposite.spadilly said:

Had a buddy that played in the braves organization way back when. He said Tom Glavine and some of the other guys on those 90's teams were some of the stupidest hicks he'd ever met.
I think it's a safe bet to expect it to be an early afternoon game. Yankees will get the night slots.Ag_07 said:
So we may not know game time for Tuesday until Sunday correct? After the WC series is complete

Does TBS do any of the MLB playoff games in 4K? I've got DirecTV which sucks for resolution but was hoping the native TBS app streams in 4K. Quick search didn't yield any definitive results.texasaggie2015 said:
Looks like the TBS time slots are at 3:30pm and 8:30pm CT on Tuesday for game one of the ALDS and 3pm/8pm CT for game two.
I don't think they would put the Yankees on at 9pm local time. I think we actually might get the later slot.
I actually had the same thought to compare the wild card round to the supers. Those three-game series have a ton of energy to them, and they're a lot of fun. We are in for a treat all weekend with this format. Can't wait!Farmer1906 said:
For the college baseball fans out there, "Super Regionals" starts in a couple of hours. Good thing the 'stros already made Omaha.

Were I him, I'd hope and pray that the hope of another WS title doesn't hinge on a start from him against the Astros....I think they've proven that they have a little extra juice when they're up against someone who has been mouthy.AggieJ2002 said:
Lame for Musgrove to use that as an excuse to justify why a WS ring with San Diego would mean more to him.
You mean it has nothing to do with the fact that he played virtually no role in actually getting the 2017 ring? I get that a WS ring with SD would mean more to him since he grew up in San Diego and is a major part of their rotation, but his reason is just stupid
