I mean he was watching the play to avoid the third baseman and tag had he got the ball. Once it got past him it was irrelevant, nobody was covering third. He could have walked there.

I think Yuli has a week to show some signs of life. Otherwise we gotta go get Josh Bell. Horrible AB in the 9ths when all he had to do was put it in play. Even if he just walks, he takes away the option for the Yankees to IBB Yordan. I've been patient with him all year, but I'm about ready to move on.
