While I think Yordan is having the best season in the AL, I think we all know that he would have to outpace Judge in average, homers, and RBi by a definable margin, and have the Astros finish ahead of the Yankees record-wise to even have a chance to win it, especially for all the media who now think Judge was robbed not winning it vs. Altuve in 2017.

And even then it's no guarantee, as our 1995 AL MVP travesty among Mo Vaugh, Albert Belle, and Edgar Martinez shows us when the East Coast media decides one guy deserves it and one guy is / is on a team we don't like.

We're soon to see a lineup with Diaz, Dubon, Siri, and McCormick all at the same time (probably with Dubon leading off and Diaz batting cleanup) and I'm going to die a little inside.

I remember times in 17-19 where we had lineups full of AAA guys. I remember Derek Fisher hitting leadoff. All that matters is we have em all by September
