Let's say he has a handful of dominant AAA starts...would y'all be willing to trade him for something that would increase our chance of winning it all, this year? What would that piece be?
Yes. Offense.redline248 said:

Part of me likes the idea of him and Hunter Brown coming up the queue at the same time. They have potential to be window open extenders into 2028-29. We're also going to have to pay Framber, Javier and Garcia over the next couple of years, not to mention a likely raise for JV. Having some super cheap, talented arms might come in handy, especially given that we're a little thin on pitching in the farm right now (loss of picks).redline248 said:

Yes. Pretty sure Satan operates that website because it is incredibly illegal and efficient.ttha_aggie_09 said:
Does the stream still work on mlb66 when it's an apple broadcast?
The Astros’ offense has not come to bat while trailing since the ninth inning of a 7-0 loss to the White Sox on June 18 – two weeks ago tomorrow.

Disagree - think Meyers has good upside and will have a solid productive career. Not so much with Chas or Siri.

Hope so and he might, but i don't like the idea of going into the post season with him batting .215.
Aroldis Chapman returns to the #Yankees today in a setup role with Clay Holmes remaining as closer.

Maybe. I was hoping to see him take a bigger step forward this year offensively. Still strikes out waaaaay too much.agproducer said:
I'm not sold on Meyers being the CF of the future. I think he is more of a stop gap or 4th OF, just buying the Astros time until Leon is ready.
Leon, imo, is the CF of the future. I think they plan to do the same thing they did with Yuli. Remember the AJ Reed experiment? Unless Meyers blows them away, that position is Leon's by 2024.
Agree, but the kid didn't play organized ball for a year.Deluxe said:Maybe. I was hoping to see him take a bigger step forward this year offensively. Still strikes out waaaaay too much.agproducer said:

Seems like Chas and Siri should both be trade bait. Meyers and Leon both figure to be better. Might as well clear the logjam.Deluxe said:
Meyers is going to be given every opportunity to be our CF of the future and I think he will be. Question for me is whether we want to roll with him this year if an upgrade is available via the trade market.

According to an MLB source the Astros are calling up catcher Korey Lee, with Jason Castro going on the IL.
