There have been Altuve drag marks on their faces for 5 years. He's just remarking his territory. Gotta do it every year.
Who says dump? It should be about getting value. We have clear holes offensively. If trading an Urquidy helps fill 1 or 2 then so be it.

Who said trade him for nothing? But so far he has been average imo. Yes he has a ws victory but regular season leave something to be desired imo. Could he be good/great? sure he can be. But imo he seems like a 4/5 starter for his career. I think you trade him and siri or chas for an outfielder or a good bullpen arm or a position of need near the deadline. If not then guess you move him to the pen? We would have like 7-8 guys who can start when all are healthy and gotta think we go to a 5 mam rotation as the post season nears

Agreed. The other point is you aren't going to get something of value without giving up something of value. We all love the Larry Anderson for Bagwell trade but those deals are both rare and generally occur when a team is not competing and looking for prospects.
I tend to agree Urquidy is more of a #4 on a good team. That has value, specifically for teams that have really poor pitching, but isn't something you feel like you can't replace in free agency in the offseason if you feel like you have to. He's the happy medium of enough value to get something but low enough ceiling that you don't have fear you're giving up a future star.
Now all this is predicated on Lance coming back and showing he's healthy. If not then I'd just stick it out with 6 starters to hedge against another injury.

It's never going to happen. They are going to pay him and cripple themselves.

The dodgers are just crazy enough to try and at least make the angels think about it. I think I read that they have big problems with injuries to starting pitchers this year. Cashman might be desperate enough to try too. I agree that it probably won't happen in the end, but the offer would have to be staggering.
