First time Yankees are no hit since 2003 when we no hit them with 6 guys. They've been no hit only twice in the past 64 years, both times by thr astros.

If you watched the post game interviews with the guys two things were made clear.

They hate the Yankees
Having Maldy behind the plate is worth the black hole he is at the plate. Dude is a leader and it means a ton to these guys to have him back there.

So the Yankees were no hit in 1958 when they were pretty much at the peak of their Casey Stengel/Micky Mantle dominance. I was curious about who did that so I looked it up.

Knuckleballer Hoyt Wilhelm who was pitching for the Orioles that year. And Don Larsen of all people started for the Yankees that day. Wilhelm payed for nine teams over a 21 year career.

Not borderline calls, just obviously wrong. MLB is garbage. Amazing the Astros won the game let alone got a no hitter.
