NCAA needs to institute the 3 batter minimum like the MLB. Louisville would change pitchers after one batter and it made those late innings so long.

Also 4 reviews called by ump crew didn't help.

And I don't watch college ball until the tourney comes around so I don't know what's typical but I've noticed one thing that bugs the hell outta me.

I've noticed the catcher and infield meeting at the mound for a while then the coach comes out and meets for a bit then he makes a pitching change.

That needs to stop.

Yeah it was bad last night. Not just the insane 1 batter changes but you had to add in the BS delays they took buying time to get them warm. If you are going to change one batter in you should be required to make the signal and have the new guy coming out before you ever cross the chalk. And you get one warm up pitch for every batter the last guy saw.

And don't even get me started on the Louisville catcher playing mind games with Blue and getting the reviews called. But at least the NCAA finally found a call to overturn. I think the one at 1B was the first review overturn all playoffs.

Yep. It was a lot of fun being at the ballpark… But it was a very long night. A nine inning game should not take five hours. Especially one where there are nine total runs

One of the other things that made it so long was the 400 pitches. They threw 225 and we threw 175. Hell they threw 125 strikes and 100 balls. More balls than total pitches in a Greg Maddox special. And I bet they threw to 1B 30 times easy.

That's fine. But if that's the case, he doesn't belong in the 3 hole, or even the top half of the lineup. Bat him 9th so that his walks can turn the lineup over.

More balls and fight than I've seen out of this Astros team in all but two games this entire season. At least baseball doesn't have to suck all day today.

It really is a sad juxtaposition -- A&M gets down and I'm like, "This game is just beginning." Stros get down and I'm like, "Done, see you tomorrow."

This ump has a pitiful strike zone.

Is their lackadaisical play due to the fact they are not in any kind of race for the division? Have they become complacent and too comfortable?

If that's the case, Dusty isn't capable of fixing it.
