I have no doubt it was.
But damn it was long
Asked today about the quality of Alex Bregman's at-bats, Dusty Baker replied: "I'm kind of tired of answering these questions. Let's wait. Nobody is at the top of their game from start to finish. Sometimes there's no other reason other than it's baseball. Let's wait a while."

Well he's been at the bottom of his game from start to finish so far DustyEastCoastAgNc said:Asked today about the quality of Alex Bregman's at-bats, Dusty Baker replied: "I'm kind of tired of answering these questions. Wrong answer Dusty. This mentality is why the offense sucks
The Astros have brought in outside help to throw batting practice prior to the last two games. Turns out, they are holding tryouts and considering hiring a Houston-based BP pitcher. The team insists it has nothing to do with the offensive production - https://t.co/FyhuHM8i9n

I posted about this the other day. I actually don't think it's that big of an issue to have your lifelong hitting instructor stay with you in the bigs. But it's starting to seem like Bregman is stuck going down the same technical rabbit holes. He might just need a fresh set of eyes and get back to basics.redline248 said:
Maybe the Astros should tell Alex that he has to get rid of his private hitting instructor. Your not a kid anymore, you're a pro.

Bregman is just who he is at this point and he's a mediocre offensive player with a great eye who has a pretty good glove and slow as shlt.

As expected. Hit right into a DP. Worthless Bregman.
