Geoff Blum (@blummer27) on @ATTSportsNetSW: “We had no idea the #Astros were gonna have to take on (home plate umpire) Vic Carapazza in the ninth. So it’s a good thing they added on those runs.”

Ryan Pressly: “I guess we’re not allowed to pitch inside in the big leagues anymore … I’m human. I will miss inside. To warn me after something like that and to throw me out after questioning it, you have to be better than that.”

Angels have lost 11 straight, and they now have a losing record. Next 3 opponents: Red Sox, Mets, Dodgers.

This is why they never should have put these things outside the stadium, some dumbass was gonna do that sooner or later
Phil Maton: “We can’t have our guys getting plunked like that. It’s over now. It is what it is. Ultimately, we need to show our guys we have their back and I think Pressly did that. It’s something I’m proud of.”- https://t.co/CWHHEN4uTH

How much of this teams current success is because they are really good and how much is because the competition isn't very good?

Good write-up here
Quote:
"I'll give it to you short and sweet: He missed twice throwing at Michael Taylor," crew chief Jerry Meals said. "After the second one, we got together because that's the way MLB wants us to handle it and we decided to issue warnings. After the warnings were issued, Pressly argued the warnings, and he was ejected."
MLB will now allow the Astros to start playing home games again.Mathguy64 said:
Yankees have played 24 games on the road. We already have 21 wins on the road. And we have more wins on the road than games played at home. Wow.

Both. Currently there are 5 teams in the AL above .500 and one more right at .500. The AL central and West look like crap. So does the NL East.

7 teams above .500 in the NL. So 13 good teams and 17 meh teams. The AL East and NL West look to be the only real competitive divisions.
So roughly 87-75 record over 162 vs teams over .500? I'd take that all day because usually you are beating up on the bad teams along the wayEastCoastAgNc said:Jet Black said:Mathguy64 said:Jet Black said:

By my count, the Astros are 7-6 against teams at or over 0.500 (blue Jays, red Sox, and twins)
Quite possibly the Mona Lisa of outfield assists🎨
