I actually don't think it's that hard to understand - he fired Lunhow because Lunhow most likely lied to him. Anyone with a brain knows Lunhow saw the memo by the league and read the emails he said he didn't read to the end of. Any of you managers would have done the same thing.

Hinch is another story. That was the bad move in my opinion. By smashing 2 TVs, it's pretty clear he sent a message that he didn't agree with the scheme. I can somewhat understand why Hinch didn't verbally say anything to anyone - I think he would have lost the locker room. Crane should have given Hinch the Cora treatment.

But adding Jake and McCullers midseason is going to be a big boost.

We're pretty set in all positions except CF. We have options. And it's not like there will be someone better at the deadline. Big hitting CFers are kind of rare.

The other options would be SS (Pena looks the part) and Catcher (they all kind of suck).

Getting a good lefty or 2 for the bullpen would be my priority at the deadline.

I don't he BS's any more than 90% of GMs across any of the major sports. An honest GM is super rare. You guys are too harsh.

I think one of Siri or McCormick are likely to get the straw treatment come the trade deadline assuming Jake comes back with no setbacks. I doubt we go for a SS unless Pena gets hurt. At catcher, I can see Castro getting dfa'd or traded or having knee problems again and deciding to retire. In that case, Korey Lee probably gets the call.
