I can kind of understand throwing a guy in the fire like that and letting them feel the pressure. But you don't do that when the offense has been stagnant for three games, and your coming off of two losses. Its early in the season but moves like that will make this season a long one.

Montero has been a pleasant surprise this year, and Graveman was solid for us last year. Probably won that trade as it stands now, but other than that, I struggle to list any major accomplishments or long term improvements to the team (or farm, for that matter) attributable to him. JV was Crane's decision.

That and the Baez signing were the only real missteps.
Extending McCullers, signing JV, rebuilding the bullpen at the deadline, Stanek signing, all pretty good so far.
Too early to tell on the signing Neris signing and Pressly extension, but so far so good.

Don't get me wrong…I'm not someone who feels it was his "failure" to not retain Springer or Correa; I think Springer would've been wasted money and Correa would've been stupid to do what the Twins did here.
I'm not sealing the guy's casket, I'm just looking at where we look 2 weeks in and reacting to some worst case scenarios. I hope it turns around.
Yuli and Brantley are short-term covers and needed to be done. Agreed. Jury is out still on LMC and Press extensions in my mind.
I have a lot of problems before Click is one of them. The lineup is sleepwalking. Dusty is trolling. Click can't make these dudes play remotely near their talent level.
Folks are frustrated with losing and are just hammering away at whatever. Well except Baker's decisions have been really bad, but bringing him back was entirely Crane.
