This isn't even debatable.

At least the HR Derby actually has recognizable names. Hell half the dunks attempted in the slam dunk contest aren't successful.

The HR Derby is entertaining. I do agree that they need to ditch the time element. Too hard to keep up when they're launching so quickly.

I like it. Re-Affirms that the ASG is just for fun, and adds a unique twist IF it ends in a tie. They should switch it up every year. Relay races, pitchers throwing at carnival game style targets, etc.

It's not a baseball game. It's an exhibition.

The very root of it alone (compiling two teams made up of the best players in each league playing one game) is gimmicking and not real baseball.

If youre interested in watching the game at all, this is a plus.

It still doesnt make me want to watch at all, but its at least more fun to watch on highlights. I'd rather see a legends game.
