We still have people banging the Josh James drum 6 years later. There is a reason a lot of guys have plus stuff but can never figure out control issues. There is a reason they throw hard bc they can't locate

I hope he figures it out but I stand by what I said. He's not useable in anything more than blowouts

5-2 during this 9 game stretch against the NY's. 3-2 on the road trip. Definitely would have taken 6-3 before this 9 game stretch started.

If anyone was watching the TBS broadcast, in the bottom of the 2nd inning, after Meyers makes a catch on the line drive by JD Davis, Costas goes on a riff about how unique Jake is, being a rarity that throws left and hits right, and how few ballplayers do that. He goes on to mention the only 2 players he can think of 2 players -- Cleon Jones from the 69 Mets, and Rickey Henderson.

I get that you can't expect him to know the details of every guy on every team. I just thought it was hilarious that he could only think of 2 bats right/throws left baseball guys, both having been out of the game for decades, while there was another one in the same outfield.
