At the game Bregman was playing more for a bunt until there were 2 strikes and then he'd go to a more traditional SS position

1B and LF/DH are the biggest question marks in the field. Uncle Mike and Yuli are both FAs, not young, and now injured. Need to get that understood and addressed relatively soon.
I would love to see us re-sign Vasquez but I'm sure he wants to be a starter somewhere. Would be awesome if we would commit to the idea of him platooning on the order of half time with Maldy.

I'd be okay with Brantley if he would do a 1 year deal at $8M. I think Yuli is done in an Astros uniform. Hate it, but it's time.

Vasquez can go start for half the league. He is gone.
This is how I lean as well. Sign him if he takes the backup player rate and gives us the club discount. He's a fantastic defensive 1B and could be a good late sub there.

Plenty of lots all around the route, I would get there around 5:30-6:00 AM. Once there plan on being there awhile afterwards. Have late lunch plans (reserved) in downtown, will be a long time for things to clear out. That was my experience in '17

Pena definitely needs an extension, framber deserves one. I'm afraid the ship may have sailed on Tucker (I hope I'm wrong).
I'm not sure bringing back JV makes sense unless we trade a starter this off-season. We already have 6 starters for next year at this point. Maybe that could help us get a younger 1B / DH or replenish the farm system. Not signing JV provides a lot more payroll flexibility. It sucks to hear because I know what he's meant to the city, but it might be time to part ways.
