But I don't think we climb out of a 0-2 hole

I think the chances are pretty good we don't play Sunday

Vasquez can't DH, too risky.
What's the worst that happens? If Maldy gets hurt, Vazquez would switch from DH to catcher, we lose the DH and just pinch hit with Diaz/Hensley/Mancini when the pitcher comes up? Vazquez isn't completely blocked from catching right? Honestly I think it's worth the risk.

Greater than 50% chance of rain in Philly from 9pm onwards on Monday night. I think the chances are pretty good we don't play Sunday or Monday. That benefits the Phillies a lot because it allows them to get their 2 best guys back on the mound in game 4 and 5.
Of course. ****ing October rain in a ballpark we haven't hit in,… again.

Honestly, this is just bad

Thoughts are pretty straightforward. It isn't worth the risk to put our back up catcher in at DH and potentially go a game without a DH…..

I'm thinking tonight is going to be great for us. Astros AND Aggies win big.

It's clear why it's a bad idea. Sorry I hurt you.
While a stat Dusty probably should have been aware of, I don't think it would have changed how Dusty handled the game last night. Many on this thread have stated that Wins is an overrated stat. It is possible to pitch very well and not get the W and even saddled with the L. As for VJ's World Series woes, as an Astro at least he really has not pitched that poorly. Both starts in '17 were quality starts (G2 the 'Stros getting a W in 11, G6 a 3-1 L). While neither start in'19 was what one would have hoped for out of an Ace, neither was was horrible either. A little run support or the pen not melting down after he left, things might have been different for the 'Stros. Then maybe not, he received ample early support last night and the pen was good behind him.EastCoastAgNc said:Dusty Baker said he didn’t know Justin Verlander didn’t have a World Series win until his son, Darren, told him last night. Dusty said he thought Darren was lying.

Par for the course...Dusty not aware of what he needs to know

I would gladly trade an Astros win for an Aggie loss. Zero hesitation.

I would trade 12 Aggie losses a year for the next five years to win this WS.

The way the football team has started games recently, they will be here by the first inning.
