Click made the trade for Smith, not Dusty. Keep in mind a new roster is submitted for each postseason series. I will be shocked if Smith is not on the roster at some point.

I think there is more than a little conflict between Click and Dusty. And I think there has been for quit some time now.

I don't think the TV or radio guys ever get renewed before the contracts are up.
The Astros announced extensions for TK and Blum once back in 2019 before the season ended:

Born and raised in Houston…started following the Stros in the late 70's when I was a kid. Terry Puhl was my favorite player growing up. But enough about me.

That screenshot I grabbed from the Stros-Rangers game on YouTube TV back in mid-August. I've been posting it after every win since then. Where have you been?

I would argue that Judge's 62nd HR is fraudulent as it came against Arlington's pitching staff. Maris faced a quality of pitching far superior. He also didn't use PEDs. Well, maybe a shot of whiskey and a good steak.

And a club that somehow unfathomably only has 9 post season appearances. Yeah they have the 2 WS titles but man as kid I thought they owned the mid 80s/90s with Doc, Darryl and Keith. East Coast bias is real yo!

Cricket fields can be pretty varied. All basically oval, but all different boundary dimensions.

Makes sense, since they share so many other similarities.

Holy Bat Flex: there could be many good reasons and this may be perfectly normal. But I've never seen a wooden bat show this flex in this way in stills or slo-mo. Maybe it happens every time and I've just never noticed or paid attention....
