What a frustrating game. Ohtani pitched really well.

I'm curious to see the umpire scorecard. Blue doors not appear to be calling the game evenly or consistently.

The Astros look downright bad right now. The bullpen and Pena are the only two bright spots.

Astros currently hitting a smooth .201 for the season, which surprisingly is 27th in the league and not dead-ass last.

Round out the 9th with another inspiring trio of K's and they might be south of Mendoza.

If we didn't have the uber shift on for him I'd agree. But we did and he decided to beat it. How is him bunting for a hit different than getting a hit any other way?

I'd agree if it were a 1 run game and he wasn't pitching a perfect game. In a 6 run game that run means nothing. What does he gain by getting a single there? Let him swing for a HR. Hell, take him out as a hitter.
