The last three games Chas and Brinson have both played in, Chas has been in CF and Brinson in a corner OF. That is indicative, IMO.

Looking at the projected starting lineup, our 8 and 9 are terrifying with Chas and Machete but 1-6 are SOLID with Pena at the 7

Im starting to think more and more Pena is going to be a surprise and at least start the year leading off

Just look a few years before that. ~98 in 2015. It makes you wonder if there isn't some permanent deterioration or if he was on the juice. I understand aging, but he fell off the cliff at 33 while you have guys like Morton, Verlander, Max, etc finding or maintaining elite velo late 30s.

Maybe he has undiagnosed sleep apnea?

Maybe Bauer just wants to hook up with her and this is his idea of light foreplay.

I'm not a Bauer fan, but he may have a case. If the allegations are true, Molly Knight was reckless in her reporting. Her interactions with Bauer and being loose with the facts on social media could show malice.

Libel suits are a big concern with journalists. I'd be surprised if The Athletic didn't have lawyers go over the article before it was published, since it was such a brutal and legally intense story. Knight's actions on social media could hurt the case for The Athletic. I wonder if she had a disclaimer on her social channels.

This is an interesting point I hadn't considered. He probably knows the Dodgers would try to terminate his contract if he were to be released from suspension. Ozuna with the Braves got arrested for domestic violence and basically got time served by MLB with no additional suspension. Financially, it's to his benefit to milk this for as long as he can.

All that being said, he's a real POS.
