9. Wagner - 5 foot nothing and pumping it in there near 100 from the left side. Game over when he was warming up
As a lefty that destroyed my arm at a young age, his story always gave me hope.
I seem to recall Wagner broke his right arm twice and it was the second break that really convinced him to go all in on being a southpaw.RO519 said:My favorite Wagner stat is he was naturally a right handed pitcher until he broke his arm at a young age. As the other poster noted regarding Oswalt that story is also true but he had tendinitis or some pain in his arm he couldn't shake and was seriously considering giving up the game. He was working on his truck, shocked himself accidentally and voila, the pain was gone, never to return.

I loved Ken Caminiti as a kid. As a little leaguer playing third, he was my guy. Also he was super cool and stayed extra long signing baseballs when a store (might have been KMart) opened across from West Oaks Mall on Highway 6. We were last in line and got to visit with his brother while we were waiting.
Sources: MLB has recently made several new proposals to the players association with an emphasis on sign stealing. Here they are: (thread)
— Britt Ghiroli (@Britt_Ghiroli) March 26, 2022
MLB proposed that, beginning with the first pitch of the game, Club Personnel may not print any Scouting Information for the purposes of providing it to On-Field Club Personnel during the game. (Ex. No Club employees can print and deliver information mid-game to the dugout)

Again, these are just proposals. It’s unclear right now how the PA will respond, but there’s an added focus on sign stealing.

It’s crazy to see how far Cody Bellinger has fallen off. Small sample size but 10 Ks in 15 ABs thus far in #SpringTraining. Once an MVP and now could lose his job. #Dodgers #mlb

There were many posters in this thread that wanted this to happen.
Jake Odorizzi, who was scheduled to start tomorrow’s game against the Marlins, will throw in a minor league game instead. Luis Garcia is starting in Jupiter in Odorizzi’s place.
