I was in a rollover accident as a kid. Some lady was turned around fussing with her baby and blew threw a stop sign. Her minivan plowed into my uncle's Jeep. We were both hanging upside down by our seatbelts while my mom was thrown around in the backseat. We were all pretty much fine. The worst part about it was when my mom asked if I was okay, hit my seat belt release, and I fell on my head.

Flip yes, not roll 3 times...especially with minimal damage to the roof.

Re-watching, the passenger mirror is perfectly in tact and the tailgate isnt bent or marred...that truck didnt roll.

And thats all it did. F250 brodozer high center of gravity. He could hit a curb taking a corner fast and put it on its side. That thing didn't roll once much less 3 times

Edit to add: IF it did roll 3 times, Im changing out my front bumper and they way I drive my 250 is about to get fun

Admittedly that wouldn't cause the rear axle to get ripped off. But id say Alonso was still a bit in shock and wasnt fully aware of what happened and over generalized rolling 3 times...also maybe didnt expect mama to post a video a few hours later lol.

Glad the guy is ok though, he seems like a good dude.

So far in the AL West:

Seattle has improved their offense. Their pitching remains questionable.

Oakland has gone full teardown. They'll be in the basement.

The Rangers have added pieces to at least get them to .500.

Edit: I forgot the Angels. They added Thor, but the test of their pitching outside Ohtani is suspect. Your will also be back.

Astros, imo, without Carlos are still favorites in the division, but not strong ones anymore with the questions surrounding LMJ.

Right now, yes. It the PTBNL is Julio Rodriguez or Kyle Lewis, is say it's a draw. Plus, Seattle has to eat 35 mil with Suarez.

Don't forget the Angels signed Thor before the lockout. I would feel a lot better if we could get a 2 or 3 starter somehow via trade. I wonder if the Reds have any guys worth looking at.

Seattle improved their pitching as well. They signed the 2021 AL Cy Young Winner.

I'd say we're strong favorites still.

I didn't mention Robbie Ray with the Ms, as he is just one pitcher. He isn't enough to upgrade their staff, because they did lose Kikuchi.

Also, those are win totals from 3/10. A lot has happened in 4 days.

On top of that, the track record of pitchers after they win the AL cy young is pretty not good.

Keuchel in 2016: 9-12, 4.55 ERA
Porcello in 2017: 11-17 4.65 ERA
Kluber in 2018: 20-7 2.89 ERA (this seems to be the lone exception, but he was in a horrifically bad division)
Snell in 2019: 6-8 4.29 ERA (also hurt most of the year)
Verlander in 2020: 1 start, tommy john
Bieber in 2021: 7-4 3.17 ERA, but hurt most of the year
Ray in 2022: ???

LMJ hurts, but if JV is back to form it's kind of a net wash from last season

Hopefully the younger pitchers continue to improve as well

So I think we're in good shape overall

Seeing a few tweets about Freeman potentially to the Bluejays. If that happens, I think they have the best offense in baseball.

1st - Freeman
2nd - Biggio
3rd - Vlad Jr
SS - Bichette
OF - Gurriel
OF - Springer
OF - Grichuk
DH - Hernandez

Add in the flexibility to have Freeman or Vlad DH, Vlad 1st, Hernandez in any of the OF spots, Biggio can play anywhere, etc.

They're my pick to win the East and give us a run for best record in the AL. Gotta finish top 2 for the bye.
