There still will be some tweaks but the luxury tax penalties will be similar to the last CBA: 20%, 32% and $62.5%

If accurate, I'm so happy they didn't go to 14 teams. Even 12 is stupid to me, but I get the $$$ draw and competitive draw. Trade deadline is going to be weird now.
The two sides still have to finalize luxury tax thresholds with tweaks to smaller issues before a deal is reached.

I'm in favor of banning infielders moving out and becoming a fourth outfielder. Let infielders shift in the infield and outfielders in the outfield, but keep them to their respective in/out field. The lack of non-HR extra base hits is negatively impacting game play.
I am all for letting everything play wherever they want, but I fully understand why some people would want to put limitations on it. It is a major disadvantage to left-handed batters. There is some precedent in other sports about being lined up in certain positions in football or you can't just guard the paint in basketball.
Give left handed batters the choice to run to third base after hitting the ballFarmer1906 said:
