the big takeaway from this postseason seems to be...starting pitching is not the end-all be-all it once was for playoff success.

and it will be interesting to see if 2021 is just a one-off postseason...or it becomes the norm going forward.

where 2 or 3 bullpen games from both teams in a 7-game series is not a big deal

Congrats to the Braves on the ring! They continued the recent NL dominance.

Side note: The only time the Astros won the World Series (1-3 in their history) is the year they were caught cheating... That's gotta sting. Huge asterisk. Couldn't have happened to a nicer team/organization.

Poor guy. Probably watched more Astros games this season than any other team.

Fortunately five ALCS appearances, three pennants and a WS ring over the last five seasons lessens the sting a little.

Anyone get refund from StubHub for game 7 yet? StubHub said "up to 30 days" when I chose cash refund over 120% credit. Amazing how they charge so quickly but delay delay delay on refunds.
