This whole series felt like the stabbing scene in Saving Private Ryan. Very few moments of life to delay the slow inevitable end. All in all, a good season but rough way to finish it out that will sting for a bit.

My best friend and I took a road trip through the southeast all the way to Myrtle Beach in 2008. Saw Atlanta's AAA, AA, and two of their A teams. Saw Freddie Freeman hit two HR's in Rome Georgia and remember thinking he would be a star.

regarding Correa...I think there's a chance. In part because of Bregman's struggles. The front office might switch horses so to speak.
and believe that Correa projects better long term than AB (i.e. he's not going to return to his 2018/2019 form)

Thank you Carlos Correa for all you did for the city of Houston for 7 seasons. Thank you to Jose Altuve for so many amazing moments this year (especially the Yankees BOMBS).
It was inconsistent, frustrating at times, but overall a fun ride.

Yup. They went all in and it worked. Most of the time it doesn't.
I'd say Click did plenty for us. The bullpen was the best part of this run.
Moral victory here was beating both colored Sox in the postseason. Their fans are more annoying than Georgia hillbillies

Good thing most people other than ESPN and talk radio morons don't care about the "narrative". Get past that and you'll have a much better outlook. We have the pieces, even if giving up Correa, and the will to pay up when needed.
We are the 3rd or 4th highest payroll. We have good leadership that built this team over the past 10 years from the ground up. No reason to think this was a "last shot" of sorts.
Logistically we are a good destination - central and no State income tax. 4th largest city and 5th largest metro area in the US. People love baseball here. They will keep pumping available money into the team.
We will be back.

Click did a great job. Now it's time to see what he can do with a full offseason for the starting pitching.
