And how close is atl to breaking the most infield hits in a playoffs series record? Seems like every inning they get another one...

Anderson likes to throw fastballs up in the zone. Houston has several of the best high fastball hitters in the world. Yuli, Altuve, Brantley all feast on high fastballs. I think we knock Anderson out of the game early.

Knocking him out early, even if we don't win, will feel like a victory with them losing CFM. Losing him as a starter and late game bullpen arm has the potential to have a huge trickle down effect on their BP.

I read that MLB had patches for players but not enough for replica jerseys they sell. It's all about merchandising.

He has really low spin rates on his stuff too. Lots of flat pitches. Expecting tons of barrels tonight for Houston. Yordan should piss all over everything Anderson throws.

Everyone needs to get over it.

We couldn't have won in 2017 without him. He came in and pitched his brains out for as long as he could until his body gave out. He got paid big, so we're all square.

He's going into the HOF with a Detroit Tiger cap on and was always just a really good rental for us. He ain't George Springer.

Have a feeling we're going to run on their catcher some more tonight.That Tucker/Yuli double steal in Game 2 was such a great disruptor.

D'Arnaud has sucked ass throwing out basestealers since he joined the Braves in 2020. In 2020, opposing runners stole 24 of 27 bases him (89%) and this year it was 26 of 31 (84%) in the regular season. Before the last two seasons, base runners were only succeeding about 77% of the time, which is a lot closer to the average MLB catcher. Not sure what the change is since then, but let's press the accelerator tonight and keep it up. Astros have stolen 9 bases this post-season without a single caught stealing so far.

I saw that too but that doesn't make sense either because now they are selling the patches on MLBshop so they have enough for both it seems

Should be even. Both teams are used to it. Guessing it keeps the ball in the park more. So whichever team hits gaps and can go 1st to 3rd will likely win

If the game is played ultimately it benefits us. Any rain out gives them time to avoid 2 straight arm pen games.

Maybe the greatest postseason game since Don Larsen's perfect game. Certainly the greatest offensive game in WS history. We were blessed to see it.

Game 2 was pretty great as well. That series had a lot of back and forth. Lots of tension and it turned out great in the end!

I think this game in particular with ATL having 2 BP games coming up tonight is going to come down to the managers and will be decided by a managerial decision.

I think we could see a close game where the decision to pull a pitcher for a certain PH or a double switch may come into play that puts one team over the top.
