When I looked back on the thread last night I was surprised to see a few people *****ing about him. I thought it was called fair and this shows it was with 100% consistency.

Edit, does look like he slightly favored the Astros. But not major at all, 100% consistency

I thought he had a good game....

Love the salty Braves fans on the comments. I guess they forget how the Braves would get an additional 4" off of the plate in the 90s.

For real, how you can look at that scorecard and think the ump had any effect on a 5 run game is beyond me.

2nd highest accuracy and highest consistency of the season for him. Good time to have your best game of the year.

Clearly Kulpa's zone had a FAR larger effect on the outcome than your "playoff stud" chucking a throw to an uncovered bag, right?

Are they comparing doing the brave chop to support your own team to calling the opponent a gay slur to insult them?

This is what I don't get about the outrage of all this, they're called the Braves as a term of respect and reverence.
Better yet, the people in the comments talking about how they need to go at the Florida State Seminoles for the same thing.

...what these dumbasses don't realize is that the ACTUAL Seminole tribe participates in game days and WELCOMES the recognition to their heritage and culture.

The Braves should say, "Screw it - we're bringing back Chief Nok-a-homa!"

Yes they did, and it is incredible that no one died, had hypothermia, or heat exhaustion with a crisp autumn breeze wafting in at 65 degrees and clear Texas stars above. No first aid tents were needed and no one appeared to leave the game early.

Anyone purchase the '21 world series hat? Does the World Series patch say 2021 on it? Looking at pictures it looks like the year is absent.

It has a World Series patch, but no year. Pretty weak, but… still bought it.

To be fair, the Braves have been getting absolutely hosed on these scorecards all postseason. If it was happening to us that badly, this thread wouldn't shut up about it until the next All Star break.

But the white liberal outrage trumps the actual group who is totally cool with it. They know best afterall.

That idiocy aside, I don't care if they do the chop in the stands or not, so long as we are chopping dicks off on the field.

I singlehandedly won us the game last night… but I also singlehandedly lost us game 1. So, you're welcome and I'm sorry.

Game 1 of the ALCS I wore a bagwell jersey and shorts, and obv we won.

Games 4-6 I wore a bregman jersey and some ****ty grey sweatpants at home and we won em all.

Come time for WS game 1 I had a choice to make: wear what I wore to game 1, or 4/6. I chose game 1 attire.

Here's the thing though. Obviously both were unwashed because everyone knows you can't wash successful postseason clothes. The games 4-6 clothes, however, look like crap, and smell like crap. Hell, I watched game 6 around a campfire.

Put em on last night and tried to mask the odor with cologne… which made it worse. Won though.

Whoever is slated to be next to me in potential games 6-7 better hope we win in 5, because I'll be damned if I wash em now.

Loved that the roof was open last night and I wish the 'Stros would play more games with it open so I'm not complaining with this observation. Does anyone recall what the weather was like last fall? I haven't checked and my memory could very well be wrong but MMP and Globe Life Field were used for three neutral site series and do not recall the roof being open for any of those games.

We need Hallion to have his best game of the season tomorrow night, as well. Remember how horrifically bad he was in the White Sox series behind the plate? It was with Garcia on the mound.

To be honest, it was awesome, but it wasn't loud at all. At least up in the 400s. Louder than a regular season game but it wasn't necessarily rocking.

This. We found it odd the lack of people getting into it on 2 strikes & 2 outs etc up in the 300s. We were on the front row on the rail and got called at several times to sit down and 'down in front' … I wasn't up the whole time or anything but certainly was for big moments. Just blows my mind what some of those folks paid to be there and weren't into it. The lady next to me sat the entire game and snapped at me when I set my peanut bag on the cup holder because it blocked her sitting ass view.

I didn't get belligerent but one lady said 'when you're old and have trouble standing you'll understand' to which I offered to trade seats and I'd stand up there - she scoffed and rolled her eyes. Pissed me off.

That sounds absolutely miserable

Old and trouble standing yet she made the hike to find a parking space walk all the way to the stadium, then walk all the way to her seat? If she's having that hard a time she should have stayed home

Bregman just doesn't look right. He posted a story on IG last night about his swing being off. It's been a weird year for him between the injury and probably never being able to get his timing all the way back before the playoffs started.
It's been off because he constantly tinkers with it.

Game 1: I attended

Game 2: I didn't.

I'm 0-5 all time in the WS across all 4 appearances. I'm thinking about calling my ticket rep and threatening to go to games 6 and 7 if Crane doesn't give me some signed jerseys…..

Tucker reads my posts here and while he was offended - it also clearly sparked him to play small ball again. Led to the hit that started our 4 score rally.

You're welcome.

Also finishing with International Players Anthem, a great collaboration between H-Town (UGK) and ATL (Outkast).

The funny thing when people talk about how we should have the roof open more is no one considers what the players want.

They all want to play with the roof closed for the consistency and they feel it's a home field advantage. They've said this forever. Why in the world would the teams own fans want to go against what their players would prefer and want the roof open so badly?

When did they last say that?

I don't recall anyone on this team caring either way.

Peterson back foot was at least 8 inches even further out of the box the pitch before

I know he has a long swing but I've never seen someone this far outside the batters box at any level of baseball ever.

Many Astros teams year after year has said it. Now, honestly haven't heard this year's team say it, but I don't know if they been asked either. It's historically said anytime they've been asked, I'd assume this year's team prefers it too.

Baseball players like as many variables controlled as possible. I'm pretty sure if you asked this team if they prefer open or closed, privately they'd say closed. They would probably say they don't care publicly.

I don't think it's come up this year but recently I think Lance has spoken out on the fact the players prefer it closed.

IIRC he was actually pretty adamant about it.
