I get that if he touches first it removes the force. That's not my question. My question is, what if he tags Correa while Correa is standing on first. Is Correa out, or is he still safe because he's standing on first? Could Correa have forced Schwarber to either: A. Step on first, removing the force and making Correa safe. or B. If the 1st baseman stepped on 1st 1st then Correra is no longer a force and would not have to run. That's why Schwarber stopped midstep, tagged Correra, then stepped on 1st.
Added: it appeared that Schwarber was initially going to touch 1st then throw home but changed his mind due to Correra's hesitancy to run. Not sure what Correra was doing but I think it helped Alvarez score.

I pulled the info from baseball-reference.com. I didn't come up with the formulas or list, but it looks like, being the bottom of the 8th and up 2-0, the Astros already had a 94% win probability.
