All cumulative playoff stats will favor modern teams because the playoffs expanded in the 90s. Until then there was only the LCS and WS.

Sure, but that's still 80 years of more opportunities, even if less teams made the playoffs, then 10 years of more opportunities with the expanded playoffs. And of course they've still been playing since Minute Maid opened in 2000.

So even so, that's a crazy stat. Have a hard time wrapping my head around it.

You'd have a point if the Cubs had stopped playing at Wrigley when the playoffs expanded.

I took my daughter to ALDS game 2 a couple of weeks ago.

She kept talking about going to next year's playoff games. I keep having to remind both of my kids that this is not normal. At all. Enjoy it while it's here, but know that it's not often we get this.

Let's go win this sonuvabtch.

I'd be more worried about the stilettos' damaging the new floors! You know how much psi is applied each time she steps??? Those poor floors.

I'm feeling great about tonight, just taking too long to get here.

What's the most nervous you've ever been before one of your favorite team's games? Professional or college?

For me it was Game 7 of the '94 Finals (Rockets-Knicks). I remember very solemnly putting on my Dream jersey and my Htown shirt thinking if these New Yorkers win the title in game 7 on our home floor, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to go on living

Joe wants to get Dusty a ring (so he can ride off into the sunset and Joe can take over). Seriously though, I want Joe helming the squad next year.

- WS Game 7 in 2017 and 2019
- 2013 Cotton bowl
- 2017 ALCS games 6-7 since we were down in the series coming back to MMP,
- 2016 A&M vs Tennessee was up there too. It was the "will we get over the 5-0 hump" game
- 2018 Western conference finals. We were going to win it all until CP3 got hurt and that would have been 2 titles for Houston within a 6-7 month span

Some off the top of my head: (I was pretty sick the day of game 7 in 2017 so I wasn't as nervous as I should have been probably)

Alabama football game in '13
ALCS game 6 in 2017 (because my dad and I were going to this game and we couldn't win the series, only lose it. Remember MMP had a real tense vibe the first four innings that night.)
The basketball game against Memphis in 2007
The basketball game against Michigan again 2018

Definitely #1 for me was before the '85 tu game. My freshman man year with a chance to goto Cotton Bowl for first time since year I was born.

Certainly both game 7 of World Series as well as Knicks game 7. Also, both AFC championships against Steelers, especially '79

Even though I was only 7, easily the last five minutes of the Cougars-NC State championship game. My father worked at Hofhienz at times with HPD so I got to meet Dream and Clyde and got to watch them practice a few times.

Obviously the nervousness turned to severe heartache.

Later playing for chance to go to state final 4 at Rice was my personal nerves from hell.

Please, no. If I have to start reliving Oiler moments, I'll be in the fetal position by 4:30.
