Valid fear, but right now we're paying Greinke and Verlander $65M or so to do a whole bunch of nothing. We'll be fine if we give him $35M a year. Might even make it back to five more ALCS's too.

Wouldn't it be that he turns into Chris Davis after he was paid?
I just worry once we pay him that he all a sudden is hurt all the time and we miss the playoffs

Anyone else thing maybe Bergman need to hit lower on the batting order? I know he hit a Homer in game 4 but he's not coming thru in clutch situations like he used to do in playoffs. If Red Sox pitch a right handed pitcher maybe bring Tucker up in the order and drop Bergman? Thoughts?

Yes, Bregman needs to be dropped. Move Tucker up to the 3 hole.

I'm kind of the opinion that since we've had the best offense in MLB all year, we've continued to hit well in the playoffs for the most part, and we are now just one victory away from another World Series appearance... that we should probably just stick with the lineup that Dusty has settled into and see if we can get five more wins out of it.

At this point I say just leave well enough alone.

He was crap after the sticky stuff got taken away... including against the very team we are currently playing in the WC game. Probably the most negatively impacted pitcher from having it cracked down on.
