And we OWNED the Red Sox in the regular season.


I just don't get it. It's not like Framber, Garcia, and Urquidy are scrubs. They're guys who pitched well most of the season and consistently went at least 5 innings per start

Maldonado's inability to hit the ball is really exaggerated when we're down by this much. His defensive prowess is worthless in this situation.

You have no idea how to use your dvr or drunk. Zones haven't been the same for 2 straight innings.

I'd take Castro over Maldonado any day

The only argument for Maldy is his defense and calling games

Well…. We've given up 3 grand slams and 19 runs in 20 innings this series so I'd make the switch

Correct. I mean say he's a .100 hitter. Castro is realistically a .200 hitter. So we're talking one more hit every 2-3 games. But when it's a close game and a runner gets on first and you know he's staying there because maldy that's pretty large. When we're down big and just need runs, he's a black hole.

We all knew the grand slam was coming right then.

I dunno, maybe lack of experience in the post season or something. It's really bad. I thought our bullpen was the only one that had problems with walks but they have absolutely killed us for those three starters.

Why is this such a hard issue to reconcile?
