It all goes back, in my opinion, to that second batter in the 2nd. Urquidy was ahead 1-2 and could not throw a competitive pitch. It's been that way all playoffs- get ahead and then waste pitches until they walk someone or have to groove a fastball. Bad strategy and even worse execution.

Was afraid to pick my tablet back up after the last inning... and yep this thread quickly turned BAS.

We may not win this series, but even with the 2nd inning meltdown that is far from a foregone conclusion. At worst, we get another shot at them tomorrow down 2-1 with tired pitchers.

Last season was a blur, but didn't Altuve have the yips in the ALCS last year too? A huge net negative contributor, or have I gotten the seasons mixed-up.

Altuve's glove is directly responsible for 7 of their 19 runs…also has essentially cooked 2 of our starters b/c you could tell they just came undone by it.
