Not just the atmosphere but that CF out there is no joke with all the shenanigans going on with the garage door and nooks and shlt.

Would really be great to get a strong start from our starting pitcher

Urquidy is a fly ball pitcher. This fact + rookie factor + odd outfield + road environment = bad Siri experience.

Sure hope Siri plays well to justify Dusty's reason for doing this. Makes no sense at all.

I'd jump on the WTH Dusty bandwagon over Siri also, but watch the kid steal some Kiki limelight tonight.

Chas may be a little banged up from Saturdays game….but I don't think Siri's defense is near as good so this is risky

They need to give siri horse tranquilizer because my biggest fear is he's gonna be so jacked up on mountain dew that he's gonna:

1) swing out of his shoes at every pitch and

2) make mental mistakes in cf

Agreed. They said Jake isn't available tonight, though. Jake is the obvious play. Chas's game against Rodriguez was less than stellar:

• Walk on full count - looked at a strike, swung and missed at a strike
• Swinging K - watched two balls, watched a strike, swung and missed twice
• K Looking - Watched three balls, watched two strikes, fouled twice (first time he actually touched one of his pitches!)

In the entire game, he wasn't able to get the ball in play in fair territory. He watched 9 balls, watched 4 strikes, swung and missed at 3 pitches, and fouled 2 times. Rodriguez is a fastball/changeup guy and Chas is not a fastball hitter. Siri is a much better fastball/changeup hitter (in a small sample size) and Rodriguez rarely throws his slider (and it isn't a good slider).

My guess is that this move is hoping that Siri cranks one. I think what will actually happen is at least one defensive blunder in CF that costs us a run or two, but the offensive jolt could be big and I get Dusty's gamble (even if I don't agree with it). You may actually see Chas come in and play defense as soon as Rodriguez is out of the game.

Didn't consider the cold factor...that's gonna make pitch grip interesting for both teams. Look for Boston to cheat.

Or maybe he's in his own head and everyone in the clubhouse knows it. He did admit he couldn't sleep Friday. Maybe it's gotten worse. Honestly, nobody outside the clubhouse has a clue whether it's a hunch or if what actual reasoning is behind it.

All we can do is speculate. Just like we did with simply stating how dusty is old and senile when he pulled McCullers. Look how that turned out.

Lance McCullers Jr. is still not throwing and still won’t be available the rest of this series, Dusty Baker said. Baker said Luis Garcia is “well on his way to becoming available” but provided no specifics beyond that

It's probably more likely Dusty going Framber game 4 then Garcia game 5. That's what I think happens if we lose tonight. If we win tonight then I think we see a Greinke/Javier start

I do hope Siri goes yard and he becomes the new Soto - how old is Siri again?!
Don't trust him in CF and more importantly do the pitchers trust him backing them up in CF??

Offensively Dusty has only the number 8 hole in CF to think about - the rest of the lineup is automatic. One decision to make - and he comes up with Siri. Hope he's right.
