The ONLY thing I can possibly think of is you're saving Lance to go on short rest if we get to the ALCS? Seems like a pretty bad move even if that's the thought.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks this is a bad thing....Lance had thrown almost 80 pitches on short rest and gave up a single, double & walk to 3 of the 5 hitters he faced last inning.

With regard to him going to Garcia....it feels like Garcia hasn't been bad when he has had an entire inning; seems like he ****s the bed when he comes on with inherited runners.
