How does everyone feel about the Giants/Dodgers? Who would the Astros match up better against? I guess the Giants had a marginally better season but I'm pulling for them because I really hate the Dodgers.

Agreed. Whether it be the BoSox or the Rays I'm hoping the pitching staff is worn ragged. Looking for a bunch of free baseball along with the series going the full five games.

I'm with you. I just want Dodger fans to be sad. But there was something about that Giants team when we played them earlier this season. They've got a nice squad and, with the way Dusty's teams lose in the playoffs historically, losing to his old club in the WS makes sense.

I'm just going to put this out there. Arozarena is significantly less buff than this time last year. He's dropped a lot of muscle mass in his upper arms and body. I guess he's on the hormone free chicken diet now.

Hes terrible, Stros would never play at .165 hitter in the outfield, Maldy at least is one of the top catchers in MLB... Bellinger is a guaranteed out, they have to have someone better

If we do go all the way this year, and feel confident in our current pitching staff and farm pitching staff, there may be an argument

It would sort of feel like the Chicago bulls failing to resign Michael Jordan or something in their prime (which their GM almost did).

Not that Correa has the same sort of individual performance, but it does seem likely that they can remain highly competitive through the end of Altuve/Bergman's contracts

But still pretty conflicted in all honesty, i just wish there was a way both parties could come to a good deal that wasn't just insanity and really hurts our ability to remain competitive after 2024
