Not sure I buy what Granato is selling here.

Since when do players GAF about who throws out the first pitch? And since when do players have any say in that?

Remember Granato was the one saying a deal with Correa was close. He's not as plugged in as he acts.

Who knew that chicken & push-ups made you fast too?

And smart by Arozarena also took the Red Sox being dumb. I mean, he was 30' off 3rd and the pitcher never even looked at him.

I didn't want mike hampton to leave, but he fizzled.

Nolan had good years after.
