I don't have a problem with it. He can pitch back to back days and ease into things.

Now if he gets into the 25 pitch zone where he's toast for tomorrow then we're in trouble.

It's a tough call...

On one hand, neither has pitched since Saturday. No guarantee there is a place to use them tomorrow. Knocking the rust off in a high leverage situation might not be the best idea. Plus, you have a day off Saturday.

On the other hand, I agree with ideally giving an opponent the fewest looks at them as you can.

Terrible by Dusty to waste your setup man and closer when you don't need to with a 6 run lead. The more the Sox see them in the series the better they'll hit them. They also both threw more than 20 pitches potentially hindering their availability.

I don't think you'd bring either in if we're up 6 runs tomorrow. But if we have a 1 or 2 run lead, guarantee you'll see them again.

I am the biggest ****ing idiot ever! I got my booze ready, been priming up, reading the boards (everything but this thread), watching MLB Network passively and getting ready for the game. I turn it on FS1 and the game is ****ing over. What? ****. I am glad we won, though. Does this mean I have to drink before every game and watch something else?
