You don't give your opponents a lot of looks of your best pitchers if you have the luxury of a 6 run lead. Especially if we end up needing him tomorrow. He's thrown 20+ pitches already so he's not going to be available.

Look at what happened to Will Harris for us against the Nationals in 2019. Eventually they get enough looks they will make the adjustment.

I agree. To me that is the biggest downside. Not quite as big of deal in a 5 game series though.

Why do you say that?

Dusty has says before he doesn't want to use him back to back days. He's not mentally with it. He threw 25 pitches, which is more than you want a reliever to throw in one game. I can't see him being used tomorrow.

Kinda pisses me off that they're allowed to play folks with admitted "flu like symptoms" during a pandemic. Abreu is a potential bio weapon that could cause a huge portion of a team to get sick.

It concerns me that the only pitchers the WhiteSox can seem to hit are our 2 best relivers.
